Arizona School Tax Credit - It is not too early to donate!!

The Arizona Tax Credit Program (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows any Arizona taxpayer to donate up to $400* to a school of their choice in support of extracurricular programs and get their entire donation back in the form of a tax credit. Contributions must be postmarked by December 31 of the year to which you want to apply your tax credit.

The basketball program really benefits from the tax credit donations! Many wait until December to donate and this is fine, however we would like you to consider donating early. Coach Stark receives the donation a week after it is received. It goes into a special account that is highly regulated for usage by the state terms of the program.

Coach will be using this money for The Central High Tournament: $400, Horizon Tournament: $350, Best of Basketball Summer Tournament: $375, the City of Tempe Summer League, JV and Varsity: $700. There are also other tournaments that we could sign up for if we receive enough tax credit dollars. If possible, Coach would also like to purchase polos for the teams. This is why we need some of the donations earlier - so that we do not miss the deadlines to sign up for the tournaments.
